Matthew Albano began his career as a commercial mortgage broker when he joined GCP Capital Group in 2001. As a senior broker Matthew arranges financing for all types of properties and developments with a concentration in the New York metropolitan area. In 2005 Matthew was nominated as a finalist for REBNY’s prestigious Ingenious Deal of the Year Award for his two year debt restructuring for one of New York City’s top hospitals.
In 1997 Matthew graduated with honors from Brooklyn Law School and began his real estate career as a transactional attorney with one of Manhattan’s premier boutique law firms. Matthew became adept at structuring sophisticated real estate transactions while representing both buyers and sellers, as well as numerous lending institutions. He also developed a complete understanding of all aspects of a real estate transaction through his representation of both national and international clients in leasing transactions and development projects.
Matthew attended Binghamton University where he received his B.A with honors in 1994.
